December 12, 2021 – I had a nice time at the virtual Pittsburgh Writing Workshop yesterday (can someone be “at” a virtual workshop?). Being online was good because a lot more agents than usual were able to attend. Being online was bad because I couldn’t meet the other attendees, nor even know whether other attendees were virtually “in” the virtual “room” with me during sessions. And I couldn’t cruise the hotel lobby looking for a good snack–bringing my own snacks from my kitchen to the computer just wasn’t the same. Still, I recommend the workshop, which is held every year. For that matter, they hold the same basic workshop at various cities throughout the year, and since they’re virtual for now, it doesn’t make much difference whether you attend the Pittsburgh one or some other city’s! writingdayworkshops.com #pitww
