April 14, 2023 – I was just about to start cardiac rehab from the heart surgery, when COVID suddenly came roaring through the household and hit us all. It wasn’t too bad for three of us–all that vaxing and boosting apparently paid off–but my oldest son got slammed–he always gets everything worse than anyone else, what with one medication making him immunocompromised. Finally, we’re all clear of the disease (though oldest son is still miserable, even though two consecutive negative tests say he’s done with the germ).
So I finally started cardiac rehab. I haven’t keeled over yet; it must be going OK. Two sessions down, an undetermined number to go.
Maybe I can get further on that next novel now!
